How long does a deck restoration take?
Most restorations run 2–5 days depending on size and the state of the boards. You'll get a fixed written quote with a timeline before we start — no surprise days added on.
Oil or stain — which should I choose?
Oils soak in, show the grain and weather evenly — best for high-traffic decks and most Gold Coast hardwoods. Stains sit on top with more colour control but re-coat more often. We pick with you once we see your timber and sun exposure.
Will my boards need replacing?
Sometimes a few boards, rarely all of them. If a board's split, rotted through or nail-sick, it gets pulled and swapped. Anything grey, cupped or tired but structurally sound comes back beautifully with a strip and oil.
Can you work with composite decking?
